INTERVIEW: Paige sits down with Chelsea Glaser, the co-founder of Launch It Girl & the co-founder of Fredi, to discuss stretching yourself thin and the importance of taking life one step at a time.
Chelsea Glaser is a Brand Strategist and the co-founder of two companies; Launch It Girl and Fredi.
In this episode, Chelsea talks about her struggle of saying “yes” to everything and how stretching herself thin across all aspects of her life led to disregarding her mental health. With two different companies, hobbies, passion projects, a social life, and whatever else life decides to dish out, she found herself asking, “am I cut out for this?”.
She opens up about the importance of trusting yourself and taking life as it comes, that “no matter how big your goals are, no matter how far away from achieving them you feel— every single thing is just one step at a time. You don't need to know how to do everything before you start, you only need to know how to do the next thing, and that will lead you to learning what you need to know for the thing after that, and so on. The path unfolds as you walk down it.”
Chelsea reminds us that happy people deal with hard things too, that it’s okay to say no, crying does not make you weak, and growth is not linear. We are all unique with our own personal struggles. By doing what feels right and giving ourselves more grace, we can create a life we are happy to live.
